Decoding TV Bonus Ep: The White Lotus Season 1 Lookback and Season 2 Preview (with Roxana Hadadi)
Hey folks, it's David Chen here. The second season of The White Lotus will debut on October 30 on HBO and run for 7 episodes, and I’m thrilled to share that the Decoding TV podcast will be recapping and reviewing each episode. Furthermore, I’m excited to announce that my co-host will be Roxana Hadadi, a TV critic at Vulture.com and one of my favorite writers on the internet today.
In this Decoding TV bonus ep, we discuss season 1 of The White Lotus, with a particular focus on its finale. Where did we leave off with each of these characters? What was this show trying to say about wealth and privilege, and how effectively did it say it? And what about that whole murder mystery plot? Listen to hear our thoughts on all of the above!

Customer Reviews
Absolutely wonderful!
These two make my day. My head is always filled with so many questions after watching the latest GoT episode (despite having read all of the books), and a Cast of Kings is just the perfect way to reflect. I find that I usually agree with either Joanna's or Dave's opinion, and even when I don't, I enjoy having my view challenged. A really great podcast.
I cannot understand...
how two people can get so many predictions wrong. Also, it is a GOT podcast about the tv series - why be so negative all the time? It seems unprofessional and when at least one of them prides herself in being an expert in the books, they should have the facts straight.
I don't know if it is an attempt to be funny and entertaining, but I do not understand it and to me it just seems a little stupid.
I don't think this podcast is for viewers who wants deep and clever analysis of the tv show.
Episode reviews of the action and the characters we love from HBO's Game of thrones series
A cast of kings is without any doubt the most serious podcast which reviews HBO series Game of Thrones
I have not read the books, and the podcast is therefore a great tool to get answers / or elaborated on some of the acts which not appear completely clear during an episode.
In addition, the hosts Dave Chen & Joanna Robinson, discuss the good/bad things from their individual point of view of a current episode vs corresponding action in the book.
This is a good cause for discussions between them but also when they correspond fan mails that agree / disagree with their point of view, which give the listener a full coverage of the show.
I can highly recommend this podcast for people who love the Game of thrones series, and can't wait for the next episode, or want to have a better understanding of the large universe, containing the large amount of characters.
