A white church accidentally merges with a black church... and all Hell breaks loose.
Pastor Gerald was supposed to pass the baton to his son-in-law Daniel, but on his last Sunday, the day of his retirement, there was a change of plans. He "got a word from God", or he just lost his mind and made things up on the spot. Either way, Armageddon as arrived at Shining Light Gospel Church and somebody better pray for their salvation.

Pastor Gerald, 70's, senior pastor of Shining Light Gospel Church, quite the curmudgeon.
Pastor Gerald's wife Norma, 70's, always talks in a Trans-Atlantic accent like she's in a "Golden Era" film.
Pastor Gerald's daughter Debra (exhausted stay-at-home mom) and her husband (the uptight organist) Daniel with their three adopted Chinese children: Teen Twins Isaiah + Josiah and Esther 1.
Reverend Joe Jackson and his wife (50's) the first Lady Janine from the First Baptist Church across the street.
Renee, the snarky, millennial, assistant to Pastor Gerald.
Jesùs the custodian, 50's. It's pronounced "Hey-Zues."
Dolly the Church lady, 60's, your perfect Christian lady with the perfect (big) Christian hair.
