Finally! I finish reading Ender's Game & get to my favorite chapter: Speaker for The Dead, & share some thoughts in between paragraphs on why I loved this book as a kid & why I still love it & why it's relevant to our times now & till the end of time! This book is about empathy, forgiveness, re-writing stories to create better ones, more peaceful ones, not giving up on wisdom, telepathy, being a highly sensitive person and all the different ways this can look on a kid, & at least in my understanding of the new to-be-queen that Ender's carrying inside that cocoon he is keeping safe...it's about synarchy. Life really is all about our relationships, be it with each other, &/or the planet we inhabit, other creatures on it, and the rest of the universe. It's called a uni-verse for a reason. It's all just one thing, & all we're doing is living our lives awakening to the fact that we are slowly, step by step, returning to the unity consciousness that we came from before the Big Bang fragmented us into all of these parts. At the same time, we can appreciate other life forms, other people, other ways of living, & even other religions, shall I dare say, by recognizing how they're just playing out a role and if traced back to the original source energy...are not separate from anything else & instead of creating wars on the details and differences in how these fragmented parts have evolved into such seemingly unique individuals & idea systems, what if we tried to empathize with each other and our collective human history? And our collective human future? What if we stopped focusing on how we're different and put on a different lens that helped us see how much more alike we are than different and in what ways? And how our differences actually make us stronger? Because it's an ecosystem...and the ecosystem is just trying to restore its balance and return to a harmonious state by working through all the disharmony that's taken place throughout time... 😌🙏🏼💓🌌🌌🌌🌌🌌🌌🌌🌌🌌🌌🌌🌌🌌🌌🌌🌌🌌🌌🌌I am having a quiet evening/night full of reflection and wishing everyone that's listening to this some inner peace and loving vibes for 2024. What kind of world do you want to contribute towards? What character do you want to play? What kind of history do you want to be a part of? & how can you, by your every day actions, co-create that history? I am going to focus on my relationship with consumption vs creation, & being intentional with what I consume so that it's guided by my intuition and my pull to heal within so that I can take what comes my way and only love it, no matter what it is... I'll be consuming less and intentionally creating more, both actual food with 2 new cookbooks and world's of my own making in the book I'm gonna start writing...as well as more breath and somatic healing movements (think yoga, maybe some Tai Chi or Qigong if a friend can teach me, & of course... freestyle dancing!...my favorite!)🥰 Let the energy inside you flow into creative expression so that it doesn't fester and turn destructive. We are vessels for continual growth. How are you going to tend to your inner garden and what are you going to plant? 😌 Merry Christmas Eve to those that celebrate & Happy Holiday Down-Time for those that don't! I hope it's a peaceful, joyful, & non-judgmental one! 🌌The cover of this episode is a page in the back of my copy of Ender's Game and it lists the sequels and stories that follow as Ender & his sister Valentine travel the universe. I haven't read the rest of the series and am now tempted to read Speaker for The Dead, which is next up in the series. It may be especially relevant to all the grieving (& healing) that is taking place in the world right now. More so though, I just personally wasn't ready to read the sequel back in grade school, though I had attempted it, & I'm not entirely sure if I am ready to absorb it n
