Daughter-Father Dance is a nuanced, thought-provoking and sometimes hilarious conversation demonstrating how love wins despite our differences—and sometimes because of them. Rather than a third person account of my dad as you've witnessed in my Cathuddhist Buddhatholic blog (where most of his actions cause me to furrow my brow in utter bewilderment) you get to experience firsthand the man who is both my hero and the person who can push my buttons like no other. Join me and my dad for Daughter-Father Dance where we will demonstrate that division is optional—and maybe even prove that it’s actually an illusion.

Episode 15—COVID Christmas Farewell
Well, we couldn't outrun the virus that we've thus far kept at bay. Dad and I bid you farewell until later next year when we return for Season Two. I'll be posting the long promised episodes we temporarily archived, and I'll be adding some "IN THE MEANTIME" fun until Dad and I return together in the future.

Episode 14—The Final Countdown
Today, Dad and I reflect on what it has meant to us to do this project together. Dad is coming off of 15 days of illness—ending with pneumonia. He holds up pretty well in this week's episode, with the exception of a couple of times that leave me wondering if he still has a fever.

Episode 13—Winding Down
Dad and I, despite the fact that he is ill with a flu bug, begin to discuss how we feel about this experiment we are getting ready to sunset at the end of December—the first season anyway.

Episode 12—The Unstoppable Force
Today's episode begins to reveal something that hasn't yet fully taken form. I talk about it the best I can. Today is brief, and the news that comes with it swift. Sometimes, there is an unstoppable force requiring that we move out of the way—it's unstoppable for God's sake—and lean gently into the flow of its wake. Today is such a day.

Episode 11—Thanksgiving—the Awkward Holiday
Dad and I discuss how, for some families, Thanksgiving is fraught with anxiety and dread. We choose sides about wholeheartedly trusting historic sources vs. questioning them. And we discuss—in uncontrollable belly-laughter—Thanksgivings of old. Oh, and my dad uses the “f-word” in hilarious fashion. This conversation is like Thanksgiving itself; a corneacopia of different flavors that leave me satisfyingly full.
