“With malice toward none, with charity for all…”

“With malice toward none, with charity for all…”

Fact: You will never agree with everything that someone says.

Why do people focus on areas of disagreement rather than areas of agreement?

The majority of disagreement (not all, but the majority) is based on differences in experience, knowledge, understand, terminology, or belief system. It is possible to engage in conversation that will clarify each of these points and allow the parties to achieve higher levels of mutual understanding and agreement.

Most people won't do that because it's easier to stay in their bubble.

    Stewardship or Fearmongering?

    Stewardship or Fearmongering?

Humans are adaptable. They find ways to survive in virtually any circumstance.

When you think about living in harmony with the environment, we need to recognize that The Natural world has more power than humans will ever have. In our hubris, we think we are the dominant force in the universe and that we cause, can alter, and/or fix anything.

Some people think that about the Earth's climate. They think we're the cause of any changes in climate and weather conditions. That's a level of egotistical thinking that will get us into trouble. We need to understand the difference between stewardship and fearmongering. We need to recognize our limitations. We need to know that we can live in harmony with the environment without forcing billions of people into poverty and subjugation. A big part of doing so will require refusing to allow control-hungry individuals to lead us down a path of economic and social totalitarianism in the name of solving a non-existent "Climate Crisis."
