Lafayette, Louisiana native Jermaine Martin joins the crew to share his sports journey and discuss how he became one of the best athletes in Louisiana in the late 90's despite the doubters doubting him because of his physical stature.  Nicknamed Flea for his cat-like quickness in college, Jermaine was inducted into the McNeese State Hall Of Fame in 2018. Coach Nekia Jones joins the crew to tell her story and how her mentality powered her in athletics and now in her young coaching career. Nekia was never looked at as the best athlete growing up but that never shook her strong mindset. Nekia understood early on that she would always have to prove herself to show she belonged in sports. Dawn Lee Holman and her daughter Moe Patterson joins to crew to discuss their strong family legacy, rooted deeply by prominent black history. For Coach Holman being raised in one of the most historical black communities in African American history, Mossville. Then following her deep bloodlines to Grambling State to continue her career. Now, as a mom, Coach Holman is almost reliving her history in front of her eyes with her daughter Moe Patterson at Sulphur High. Their story about athletics, adversity and their own family history is one of our most informative as well as inspiring podcast especially in this time period.

Rob Lihalakha joins the crew a Houston kid with goals of becoming the next great hooper... listen to his journey from hooper in college, to college coach, to an AD that created a successful basketball organization from the ground up. Hear his insight on being an athlete today but more importantly being a skilled athlete in society from branding yourself, financial literacy and understanding your value as an athlete.

LaGrange High All-State senior point guard Jeriah Warren and her mother Priscilla Vincent-Warren joins the crew to share her sports journey and her love basketball. Ms. Warren shares with us the journey of being a sports mom and having daughter who is  one of the top girl's basketball players in the state of Louisiana.  They also shared with the crew the journey to winning a state championship and how both parents and players are a close knit group, Jeriah also shares with us why she chose to take her talents to the University of Florida to continue her career in basketball at the next level.

Former LaGrange High Football Standouts and current collegiate football players Alvinoski  LaFleur(Eastern Michigan), Michael LeDay Jr.(McNeese State), and Kevin Victorian Jr.(Prairie View A&M) joins the crew to talk about their journey from high school football standout to collegiate athletes. All three athletes were all-state and district  MVP at one point in time during their high school career, they were also all on the defensive side off the ball for the gators for three years together.
