Madame Butterfly was a 1932 American pre-Code drama film directed by Marion Gering, based on David Belasco's play and the story by John Luther Long.
Story: At Goro's Tea House, we are introduced to Cho-Cho San (Sylvia Sidney) who is bidding farewell to her mother and grandfather. She is about to undergo training as a geisha in exchange for money that will support her family. After the relatives leave, Goro introduces Prince Yamadori, a prospective husband, to Cho-Cho San. When Yamadori finds her withdrawn, Madame Goro explains that Cho-Cho San is high-born and is not yet used to the geisha life style.

Originally Cappy Ricks was a 1921 American silent adventure film. The film starred Thomas Meighan, Charles S. Abbe, Agnes Ayres, Hugh Cameron, John St. Polis, Paul Everton and Eugenie Woodward. The first show of the series. A Dutchman draws a lynch mob after the whole town accuses him of murder. A very well-written story with a surprise ending. Georgia Ellis plays the widow of the dead man, not Miss Kitty! Clay Richards is wanted for robbing a bank and for murdering an old cashier and a Chinese cook and the Marshall of Dodge City is on his trail, only to find that Zeigler the Dutchman has already found Clay's dead body. To add to Dillon's troubles he has a young runaway boy from Cottonwood to sort out, a boy by the name of William, otherwise known as Billy the Kid.
