Devin joins the podcast live from Las Vegas where we just witnessed Zion and RJ's NBA Summer League Debuts. We talk about what it was like to see Zion in person, the statement that he made around the league, the earthquake that ended the game and the earthquake that was Kawhi/Paul George revelations that ended a wild and memorable day in the NBA. We then discuss who left the squad, the draft, their landing spots, who is coming back, and all the new recruits. What happened in the loss, how we feel about the season, and much much more in this tournament and season recap. We try to make sense of the loss, size up the season as a whole, how the team progressed (or didn't) and the wave of Coach K criticism that's out there in the national media. We talk about Cam's mystery injury, Zion's legacy, and ask some what-if questions as we think about how to process this pretty unique year of Duke Basketball.

This episode features an in-depth look from Devin Gordon at each of the freshmen, Coach K and the program as a whole this season as he relates his hands-on experience interviewing Zion, Cam, RJ, Tre and Coach K in one-on-one interviews to write a feature piece for GQ magazine. Devin gives some really interesting observations and details about each of the freshmen's mindsets, what makes them special individually and as a group, and takes us inside his experience with each in this hour-long interview. The first 10 minutes have some audio issues, but they were quickly resolved.

Duke barely survived, and we work through what happened paying tribute to the winning plays but also examining how and why we were outcoached and outplayed by Johnny Dawkins and his excellect UCF squad in the opening weekend of the NCAAs.
