It's Hot Stove Season and the Dynasty Diamond boys are back to talk all things strategy this week, particularly with head-to-head dynasty points leagues. We discuss some offseason trade hacks for your dynasty league, some strategies for drafting and building a winning roster construction philosophy, and some how to approach taking over a team in a dynasty league that you didn't draft. It can be a challenge to enter into an established dynasty league be competitive right away, especially if the team you inherit left the cupboard bare. Pat and Hollis have experience doing that and being successful in short time, so they have some tips and approaches to offer fantasy managers in similar positions.

This was a fun episode with lots of strategy talk. While we all wait for the MLB and MLBPA to come to an agreement, take an hour out of your day to listen to us and dream about the 2022 fantasy season.

Houston Astros pitcher Framber Valdez's broken finger is the first significant injury to a fantasy relevant player of the Spring, so we discuss the ripple effects of that along with some other notable news from Spring Training.

We also discussed the flurry of trades of in our dynasty league a couple weeks ago, the drama that ensued from one of them, and why vetoing trades is dumb. We also discussed one of the biggest fantasy trades in our league's history — just a massive trade — and we discuss how to know when to trade a player like Mike Trout in a dynasty league.

We finished the conversation off with a draft of fictional baseball players.
