Interview with Adam "Prime Time" Townsend

Interview with Adam "Prime Time" Townsend

Episode 27 of Early Stoppage features ACB Welterweight Contender Adam “Prime Time” Townsend. Prime Time is one of the only guys walking the planet with professional wins within mixed martial arts, boxing and Muay Thai. At the moment, he’s one fight away from a title shot within the ACB promotion. Adam briefly retired to pursue a career in politics and we dive into his thoughts on politics and what lead to him returning to mma. He’s certainly one of the most entertaining guys to watch and is just as entertaining on social media because you never know what he’s going to say or do. This was by far one of my favorite episodes of not my favorite and I hope you guys enjoy it.

    Interview with Shamir Peshewa

Episode 25 of Early Stoppage features Shamir “Hella Kitty” Peshewa. Shamir is currently a bantamweight fighter under the Valor Fights promotion and made her pro debut at the beginning of the year. She also recently served as the ring announcer for Valor Fights 51. On this episode we discuss comic books, anime, video games and of course mma. This wasn’t the usual episode that focuses solely on combat sports because we touch on that topic the least. We also go into her business, Marvel My Fitness, and the background that lead to its existence. I really hope you guys like this episode.

    Interview with Helen Peralta

    Interview with Helen Peralta

Episode 24 of Early Stoppage features undefeated Invicta strawweight Contender Helen Peralta. Helen is a unique fighter because she had no knowledge of mma as the first fight she ever saw was Ronda Rousey vs Holly Holm which took place at the end of 2015. 5 months later, she took her first amateur fight and compelled a 9-1 record while capturing titles in the flyweight and bantamweight divisions. She turned pro at the beginning of the year, is 2-0 and has her third pro fight on September 1st at Invicta 31. On this episode, we talk about why she became a mixed martial artist, her thoughts on the Invicta Promotion and her upcoming fight against Kay Hansen. There were many good laughs that took place on this episode, I hope you guys enjoy it.

Interview with Ryan "Blue Chip" Martin

Interview with Ryan "Blue Chip" Martin

Episode 22 of Early Stoppage features undefeated lightweight boxer and now jr. welterweight contender Ryan “Blue Chip” Martin. Ryan has many accolades from his youth that helped him develop into who he is now. As an amateur he won 202 fights, won the U19 Gold Medal in 2010 and racked up 12 national championships. Currently he is 22-0 and has entered the second installment of the World Boxing Super Series for the Jr. Welterweights. He is the former WBC Continental Americas Lightweight Champion as well as the former WBA Inter-Continental Lightweight Champion. This was a great episode where I get to really pick his brain regarding why he switched trainers, what it’s like training with GGG and him being involved in the World Boxing Super Series Jr Welterweight tournament for the Muhammad Ali Trophy as well as WBA and IBF belts. Ryan has accomplished a lot but feels his work is just beginning. I hope you guys enjoy this episode.
