Election Inspection is the work of a 17-year-old whose love for elections has got a bit out of hand. Undertaking the Extended Project in year 12 involves "developing a new skill" around a topic of interest, and podcasting is certainly new to our host, something which may become painfully evident over the course of this series.

With interviews with a whole variety of clever politics people, this series aims to take a proper look at elections: at how they work, how they're changing, and ultimately, who they serve. Election Inspection has three parts accordingly: Campaigns & Narratives, New & 'Old' Media, and the Politics of Policy. Hopefully, by looking at each of these areas in quick succession over the course of the series, listeners will come away with some sort of new insight into the importance of elections and the roles of those involved in them.
