- Religion & Spirituality
This is a podcast for skin shedding conversations. We are about getting real, raw, and vulnerable as we expose topics that might be considered taboo. There is always a spiritual component to these conversations as the mission of this podcast is to shed the skin, peel back the layers, and connect as Spirit. Listen and watch the conversations unfold on the Elena Rose Davis YouTube channel. Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/embracetheserpent/support

Sister Wounds; Tools to heal friendship scars with Melissa Coton
In this episode we continue the conversation started in the Mother Wounds episode examining the root causes of triggers and disagreements between people. Really, this episodes could be called HUMAN wounds as what we discuss could be applied and relevant for all relations. I am joined by my dear sister Melissa Coton, a fellow yogi born in Mexico who has lived and taught internationally in Europe and Latin America and currently resides in Bocas Del Toro, Panama where this episode was recorded. Since we are coming from the perspective of female embodied women who have a lot of experience with friendships with other women we are focusing our talk on these types of relationships. We discuss navigating expectations, disappointments, misunderstandings, power dynamics, communication, acceptance, and forgiveness.
Melissa Coton can be found on Instagram at yogibee.me where you can learn more about upcoming online classes, yoga teacher trainings, and future retreats and workshops she hosts!

Mother Wounds + the Sacred Pause with Katherine Croston
In this episode Katherine Croston and I explore this topic for just over an hour, but we could go on forever. We begin by speaking to the sacred pause Covid has given us, and the way that intertwines with uncovering and healing mother wounds. We bring up jealousy between women as well as the way mother wounds impact our relationships with the masculine. This is such a juicy topic I’ve been wanting to speak to for a long time. It divinely aligned that I would record this in PanaMA; my ancestral land on my mother’s side, with a Native who I have experienced as the total embodiment of Ma.
Katherine Croston is currently in sacred pause taking a break from social media and not currently accepting new clients but you can find her on IG: @loveliberates.you and at https://www.theyogaloveproject.com/

E5: Releasing Souls Sacredly; The Spiritual Journey of Abortion with Yndon Clark
In this episode we dive into the conversation about abortions and all that comes with it; sex, love, death, men and women, spirituality. I asked my friend and Human Design expert Yndon Clark to join me. It was very important to me to have this conversation with a man as I feel that they have just as much to do with this process and are effected deeply by it too. We often don’t include men in the conversation when coming from it as “pro choice”. Although I clearly support our rights as women to have sovereignty over our bodies, I wish to break down the lines of separation between men and women and find unity in our shared humanity. This conversation includes tips on ways to honor the soul you release when having an abortion, and Yndon and I both share our personal stories. This is my first time sharing publicly about my own abortion experiences and I have chosen to do so on this platform to give such a controversial and yet universal human experience the time and space it needs for many nuanced topics within the topic to be discussed.
