    Christian Sailer

    Christian Sailer

He is the only shooter to win every area match, then cap it all off with a National Title, and his encore act was just as impressive repeating as the National Champion in the open division, all before his 21st birthday. Christian is young, but has the work ethic and skill of someone very senior in life, he jumped into the scene in 2018 and climbed all the way to the top in 2019, and hasn't looked back. Even with the early accomplishments he maintains a down to earth and humble attitude, and doing the right thing is always his priority. This episodes jumps into what Christian thinks of the future, his journey, and what his next goals are. Christian is as fun to be around as it is fun to watch him shoot. We can't wait to see where he ends up in the future, and it was truly an honor to sit down with him! If you aren't following him make sure you head over to his page and do so!

Chad and Charles from Trex Arms

Chad and Charles from Trex Arms

Shooting is only half the battle when it comes to trying to attract new shooters on social media, and the other half is camera work and editing skills. I got to sit down with 2 of the best media creators within the gun community. Chad and Charles from Trex have a passion for education as well as creation. For the 2nd amendment to continue being protected, gun rights advocates must adapt, and use technology to their benefit. CJ got the chance to talk to the leaders in content creation out in Tennessee. As gun rights supporters we are grateful guys like this are on our side, to help show the great side of training. Each guy has a different story and journey, but recently they've teamed up to take the gun content creation by storm. If you don’t follow Chad or Charles make sure you do, links below.

    Lucas Botkin

    Lucas Botkin

Empty Brass is honored to welcome back the CEO of Trex-arms Luckas Botkin. There is no question that Lucas is a polarizing figure within the gun industry, but despite his biggest critics he has always been committed to doing the right thing based on his convictions. 2020 has been a wild ride for all of us, and we asked Lucas to find out how the lock down and riots impacted things at Trex-arms, as well as what they had done to prepare for incidents like these before hand. Lucas has always been an advocate of civilians owning basic kit, including a helmet, plate carrier, and night vision (if affordable) which has been heavily criticized by some for "larping'. Its fair to say that during the summer when every major city as well as smaller ones were rioting and burning the need for this basic kit became clear. Lucas stood by this position, and in our opinion was vindicated over the summer, and Lucas shares his opinion on what it was like to be right in an overwhelming way. Lucas continues to lead through these quickly changing times, and it was our pleasure to have him as guest for a second time. Please click the links below to follow all he and Trex-arms having coming.

    Jerry Miculek

    Jerry Miculek

He doesn't need an introduction, or list of accomplishments all you need to hear is the name Jerry Miculek. He may be the best practical shooter of all time, after dominating the revolver division for over 2 decades, he recreated himself in the quickly growing sport of 3-gun. CJ sat down with Jerry again on season 2, and got his take on all of the twists and turns that 2020 has brought thus far. They also went down some parts of Jerry's career as well as discussed his father-in-law Jim Clark Sr who owned and operated Clark custom guns. This year has been a roller coaster, and Jerry talks about some of his struggles getting motivated to train, mostly due to the fact that many matches have been cancelled. It is truly an honor having Jerry on Empty Brass for the second time, and its hard to really express the our gratitude. Jerry is not only one of the most talented shooters in the world, he is a genuine stand up man's man. He believes in being competitive, doing the little things, and above all else winning. Jerry has adapted and continued to find ways to win, and also remained a shining example of what every shooter should strive to be both on the range and off. Empty Brass has been beyond fortunate to sit down with many of the leaders from different areas of the gun industry, but this episode holds a special place. Make sure you follow Jerry on Instagram if you don't already.

    Jeremiah Wilber

    Jeremiah Wilber

In this episode of Empty Brass CJ sits down with a recently retired, and former Green Beret Jeremiah Wilber. Jeremiah shares the story of his Army career and how he was able to accomplish the rare achievement of not only his Special Forces tab, but his ranger and sapper tabs as well. Its hard to express just how rare that is, and also the amount of perseverance and determination it would take to accomplish that task. Jeremiah had a long and honorable career in the Army, including some very unique and interesting jobs within the army. He shares a little bit of that story and how his Native American heritage fueled his success. The guys also talk about the power of CBD, especially when it comes to veterans. They also discuss all the current political topics, and how some of the lessons learned in the military that could be applied. They also share their mutual mission of helping others, and how he plans on paying it forward in the next chapter of his life. Jeremiah is a rare breed of warrior and hippy that our volatile world could use a lot more of in these trying times. Make sure you go and follow Jeremiah on Instagram!
