EP04 The King of the Triple Header - Max Verstappen Paddock Experience Podcast

    • Sport

Happy 4th of July to my American fans.

In the last three weeks, we have had three F1 races, France, and a doubleheader in Austria. the First was the Styrian Grand Prix and the other was the Austrian Grand Prix.

Max Verstappen has come as the winner in all three races putting him 32 points ahead of Lewis Hamilton in the lead of the F1 driver's championship.

Redbulls new engine upgrade in France seems to have paid dividends. It is still too early to call who will take the drivers championship as things can change overnight

In this episode, Max started from pole position and lead the race from the start to the chequered flag. Lewis started from P4 and overtook both Perez and Norris but suffered some damage to the aero at turn 10 and dropped to finish 4th. Norris started from P2 and dropped places after a 5 second time penalty for sending Perez into the gravel after turn 4, but he worked that Mclaren back to finish on the podium in P3 just behind Bottas. He was also voted as the driver of the day.

Perez dripped places to P10 after he went wide and onto the gravel in his quest to pass Norris in turn 4. The stewards also penalized him two 5-second time penalties for pushing Leclerc wide twice.

The next race is in two weeks at Silverstone UK.
