In Episode 7 I was joined by PDC Referee & LGBT+ Ambassador Huw Ware.
We discussed his Youth playing career and sharing the oche with recognised PDC professionals such as Jefferey De Zwaan and Max Hopp. His breakthrough into darts refereeing after the regular caller didn't turn up at a County fixture. He advocated the use of dartboards in schools in order to improve children's mental arithmetic. His Lakeside debut...a day he will never forget. The difficult decision to switch from the BDO to the PDC. How his calling style has evolved over the years. How he deals with a disrespectful and abusive darts crowd. His advice to any young budding referee.
