It's the Extreme Anime Radio Podcast before "The Big Game!" In the show before the "Annual Football Championship," JR and Nef talk about the hot topic of the week: Funimation officially shutting down their streaming in April and migrating everyone to Crunchyroll, and the fallout of the announcement that those that purchased digital titles from Funimation will no longer be able to access them. There's also finally an overseas release date for the Spy x Family movie, Nef gives his thoughts on Freiren, and JR discovers a 7-year-old fantasy food anime whose manga series is ongoing. Chatroom discussion about Moster Rancher turns to chat about Dee Baker and the old Fox Kids television block from the 90s. Happy Birthday Extreme Anime Radio! This show marks the 23rd anniversary of Keiichi.net Radio, which was created by Michael "Keiichi" Morris in 2001. On this podcast NefCanuck recaps his own birthday from last week, and JR recaps his mother's birthday from the same da. Discussions turn to sumo wrestling, top movies in Japan and Liz's new interest in micropig cafes before he and JR break open the Japanese snacks for a fitting taste testing.
