We got Broshitz back together again this week and brought along our favorite guest/unofficial third host Emily Waldon. If you don’t know Emily, she’s the bee’s knees, a minor league expert, and the foremost voice on the Detroit Tigers minor leagues. She’s also employed by two of the biggest outfits in sports (Baseball America and The Athletic). Do to Emily’s expertise we dig into the Tigers prospects and the Midwest League. We’re back in the saddle and ready to get you up to speed on all the top names in Monday’s MLB Draft. We talk Adely Rutschman, Andrew Vaughn, Bobby Witt Jr., J.J. Bleday, Riley Greene and others. With all of baseball in full swing we have a lot to dig into this week on the show. Always one to avoid all the heavy lifting we brought along our Prospects Live teammate Jason Pennini to run through all the happenings on all levels of baseball. Well, we didn’t quite have enough time to cover your local little league, but we were close. We start with all the happenings and hot performers in MiLB, running through Luis Robert, Carter Kieboom, and many others. We move onto the college ranks talking some of the recent draft prospects I’ve caught, and culminate in the coup de grace of Jason Pennini’s NHSI looks. Lance is back in the saddle this week, as we talk some of the debuts of the last week in MLB. We of course gush about Chris Paddack, touch on Corbin Burnes, and Nick Margevicius, as well as other rookies breaking camp with their respective big clubs. Following the MLB rookie discussion we swim back to the shallow end of the pool to talk MiLB assignments for the upcoming campaign. We discuss a stacked Wilmington club, as well as some of the other standout groups to checkout this season.
