FBC E02 - Purrito's Monologue on Efficient Market and Information Cocoon Elle Me Dit

    • Hobbies

Hi guys and gals, good to see ya all AGAIN!

We're reading the book by Howard Marks, The Most Important Thing and in this episode we discussed about our take on the second chapter.

The whole chapter revolves around two questions, "Can people beat the market and how can they do that?". It introduced the concept of Efficient Market Hypothesis by Chicago School and explained why this theory, plausible as it might sound, could cease to be effective in real-life scenarios.

As information is vital to the decision-making process, Purrito came to share her struggle with the overflowing digital information.

Since this is an ongoing project, there is still large room for improvement. So if you have any suggestions on how we can improve this podcast or you want to join us in reading these books together, please write to us and send emails to readmaybefbc@163.com.

Look forward to hearing from you!
