Filthy Henry is Dublin's first and foremost fairy detective. Something of a niche job, since most people do not know that fairies are even real. Let alone need a detective. But when troublesome fairies look to make things awkward for mortals there is one man tasked with stopping the magical meddlers. The only problem is, Filthy Henry hates everybody indiscriminately and would much rather be left alone. Each season covers one book, written by Derek Power and narrated by Niall Milton. Each episode is one complete chapter from the book the season is covering. In between seasons we also release short, never before published, stories on a monthly basis. All music featured in the podcast is an original composition by Niall Milton.

In an unremarkable field in County Louth magical events are stirring. Somebody in the fairy world is once again putting things in motion that can only mean trouble for mortals. Typically Filthy Henry, the fairy detective, gets involved in these matters. But he has no real interest in what is going on. Fate, however, has other ideas...and she doesn't take 'no' for an answer.

The Cullen family are introduced, as the matriarch of the clan tries to instill a sense of honour and pride in her eldest son. Medb meets her benefactor and learns why time travel is never as easy as the movies make out. Filthy Henry deals with the revelations dropped on him, before accepting the case. While Shelly and Dru find out just how important being part of a Trinity is.

Medb starts to learn that the world she finds herself now in is stranger than the one she left behind. Cathal goes forth on a personal quest of great importance...but to whom?

Filthy Henry and co arrive in Carlingford and look around to set up a base of operations. There search for Cathal Cullen results in Dru the Druid attempting to eat both his feet at the same time. The fairy detective is surprised to see that heroes come in all shapes and sizes.

Cathal has a rude introduction to how working with Filthy Henry looks. While suffering a hangover he listens as Shelly and Dru the Druid explain things to him. Meanwhile Medb continues to learn about the wonders of the modern world. Using some of the crones dark magic, she bolsters her little party of players in this great game.

The gang go back to Cathal's house and receive a grand tour decidedly lacking on the 'grand' side of things. Questions are raised about whether or not Cathal Cullen is the person they are meant to be working with. Medb gets reacquainted with Naul and Trug, while Lauren explains the plan to them all. Cathal, upon hearing what Shelly and Filthy Henry are in town to do, starts wondering who exactly is the more crazy person in his home.
