From Failing Hands Episode 68: "We're On To Buffalo"

This week the guys had a few choice topics to discuss. They went over the lackluster game against the Capitals as well as Claude Julien's post-match comments which sparked a bit of a firestorm on social media. With Julien's future a hot topic of conversation of late the guys also discussed and proposed a compromise to the supposed "unwritten" rule the Habs are often accused of implementing with respect to head coaches needing to speak French. Mike also wanted to discuss the Brendan Gallagher situation in more detail and why he feels the Habs and the player did everything they could given the circumstances. They also provided a State of the Union address for the team and discussed their playoff aspirations, such as they are. They ended on a bit of sombre yet important note, discussing the importance of the Bell Let's Talk initiative, especially given the recent tragedy involving the nine lives lost in the helicopter tragedy in California. From Failing Hands Episode 65: Year Of The Rats

This week, the boys are back and more fired up than ever. Does that have anything to do with the current winless streak? A little. However, Mike & John took the opportunity to give it right back to a few select members of the media this week who continuously and conveniently pick at the low-hanging fruit in an attempt to take jabs at the players. They officially welcomed the newest members of the team Marco Scandella and Ilya Kovalchuk, credited Marc Bergevin for the recent transactions and gave their take on the latest skid. You won't want to miss John's assesment of everything that is being brought into question by the fans and Mike's rant on why players who are rightfully used because they play as advertised.
