    The Arabian Celts from Bahrain won an historic first ever senior men’s Gaelic football cup  at last Friday’s round 2 of this year’s Middle East GAA League.

    While Gaelic Sports in the northern hemisphere comes to a close for the 2014 season, the action further south threw-in recently with the opening round of the 2014-2015 Middle East GAA League.
    Bahrain was the setting for Round 1 of the Middle East GAA League which saw Abu Dhabi na Fianna club in fine form, and Mid East chairperson James Kennedy gives us the full rundown.

    It was a massive weekend of Gaelic sports action in London last weekend as we had no less than five championship titles to be decided at Ruislip.
    These were the last London club championship finals before Ruislip’s proposed redevelopment takes place over the coming months, and add in a first in televised senior finals by IrishTV.ie on SKY 191 channel, made for a rather historic occasion.
