    50. Word of the Year 2023

    50. Word of the Year 2023

This is not just about picking a word for the year that will be forgotten about. This is about being intentional about the word you pick and why

Choosing a word for the year may not be for everyone, but it is one ritual I have done for years now, and I wanted to share how it can be impactful in your life. It's about navigating the space of who you are and who you want to become.

    How do you get there?
What will it take to become the woman you want to be?
Taking time to think on that. What words come up? What thoughts?

When it comes to picking a word for the year, it's more about seeing how it shows up throughout the year. What lessons you learn that helped you become fearless, or more authentic.

In this episode I share how I came up with my word for this year and last year to give you a visual on the journey.
If you choose to find a word to focus on in 2023, I would love to hear what it is. Message me or share on social so I can encourage you!!

    48. I shared my deepest, darkest secret... Now what?

    48. I shared my deepest, darkest secret... Now what?

I shared my deepest, darkest secret......
and with that, I wanted to share what I went through with sharing to give you the real reel.

Sharing your truth can feel like your heart might get ripped out of you because you are unsure of how people will react.
Making the choice to share with people closest to you before you share with the rest of the world
Realizing that you have no idea how people will react, and you get to learn to honor them through that
Some will react well, and others not as well
In the end, I was willing to lose the people I loved the most to be my most authentic self, and being ok not having answers

Through sharing my story, I realized nothing could hold me back and I am finally using my voice!
With that being said, I think It is very Important to take time to journal and check in with yourself on how you are really feeling. There are highs and lows with this journey.

    so whats next?
In classic Lacie fashion, I am running 600 mph, and realizing that I am going to probably be sharing on things I love and are true to me, and with that It will grow, and clarity will come!

Money mindset and my journey from broke AF to Financial FREEDOM
Health and body Image journey and learning to love my body
Sharing my partnership with the most amazing skincare company because I do love non-toxic living
My new obsession with human design and how It can be used as a tool in life and business
    Emotion code and healing
Creating a rising ritual and how owning your day can help you create a life you are obsessed with
And the Idea of how you can be your most authentic self on social media

Clearly I am passionate about a lot of things, so here we go!

    47. The Unmasking

    47. The Unmasking

We are launching a new season of the podcast with the MOST vulnerable episode I have ever recorded.

I realized I had the choice to either continue living in FEAR of what other people may say, or be my most AUTHENTIC self. The mask is coming off, and I am giving you a run down of my how my entire faith shattered in one moment on our way to Texas.

As I write this description out, I can't help but chuckle with what I am about to get myself into, and yet, I know in the deepest part of my being I am meant to share this journey with the world (now that I have had some hard convos with people close to me). When I first had the download of Her Life Out Loud 6 + years ago, I imagined it going a whole lot different than where it is about to go. It was meant to be this beautiful podcast filled with faith based stories, and here I am sharing about my faith being completely shattered, left to pick of every single piece to see how it fits into my life.

When I picked the word authenticity for my word of the year in January, deep down I knew my life would never be the same. I had no idea what I would be walking into a few weeks later. It is safe to say it was vortex. I came out a completely different person, and look back and wonder if the last 8 months were real.

Anyways, I feel like I could keep writing because the idea of pushing schedule means I am willing to be a target for some people, and a lighthouse for others, which is such an odd feeling. Here is to pushing schedule and letting a new chapter begin.

    With love and gratitude,
    Lacie Jaye

    46. Her Life Out Loud: Relaunch

    46. Her Life Out Loud: Relaunch

Sometimes you have to let go of something that was given to you... so you can see if it comes back!
I had a vision of what I thought Her Life Out Loud should be, but it never felt right, until I let it go because it was no longer worth the stress of trying to make it happen! But here we are after feeling really lead to start it back up. To be honest, I wasn't sure if I was the girl for the job.

I knew that if I was going to be on here, it meant that I would have to share a part of my story that feels really vulnerable, and sharing my most authentic self. One that could lead to backlash and pain, but I got to the point where it really doesn't matter how people take it because the longer I didn't speak about it the more I felt like I was dying inside.

So, welcome back to the show!

I will be honoring who I am and how I am designed, and I can't wait to be sharing things that I am passionate about. You might get a little bit of everything here, and I know that might not resonate with some of you anymore!

Either way, I am so thankful to have the time and place to journey through life together.
Honoring growth and change along the way!

    45. But Do You Like You

    45. But Do You Like You

    Hey friends!
One of the biggest questions I had to answer at one point in my life was, "Do I like myself?"
After taking some time to honestly assess where I was in life, the answer was NO!

I didn't like who I was on the outside.
I didn't like who I was on the inside.
    I didn't like who I was becoming.

I really had no idea who I was. I was trying to be everyone else, and had to take time to fine Lacie.

The reason I am sharing this is because I have been on a journey with health & wellness for awhile now, and so many times we tend to circle back around to weight and size. We have to change the narrative.

One of the most empowering things I have ever done in my life was standing naked in front of a mirror loving the woman I was looking at. I wasn't where I wanted to be weight or size wise, but the more I loved this woman, the more those things didn't matter.

Today I share 6 steps that helped me to love myself the way God created me.
Personal development, therapy, affirmations, and more!!

I can't wait to hear what pieces of gold you have found within this podcast.
Make sure to share and tag us at @herlifeoutloud so we can personally thank you and celebrate with you.

    xoxo
