After finally catching up on Friday, August 21 Shalini and Leonica talk about Leonica's run for School Board - www.leonicaforthepeople.com and life in general. After our quick catch up the Jacob Blake shooting happened and not long after that, protesters were shot by a man who got the royal treatment, imho, from authorities. Maddening. Thanks to my friend Johanna Bogater for taking the time to chat with me about her work on the political scene, forming a PAC and life. We’ve known each other a long time and I’ve been excited watching her journey. I continue having conversations with friends who’ll talk about how we can make the world better. It’s an audio journal. Sometimes we vent and sometimes we strategize. After this recording I was reminded that we need to get the right people in to those rooms “where it happens”. Find out how you can get involved.
