In 2017, NC Folk produced its first podcast. Inside NC is a podcast designed to highlight lesser known artists, tourist destinations and communities around North Carolina. Working from the idea that every community has people, places and things to celebrate, Inside NC focuses closely on smaller, mostly rural communities across North Carolina that prove that there is an amazing depth of talent, culture and history often hiding out in the open.



But NC Folk also hopes to demonstrate that every community in the Old North State can add their own stories to our folk and traditional arts landscape. Inside NC hopes to offer a view into the remarkable communities that are North Carolina. Inside NC celebrates a sense of place.
