2020 was in many ways an era defining year, both in America and around the globe. This project sets out to record the voices of those impacted by this seminal period.
Our aim is to provide a platform to share our experiences throughout 2020. These can be reflections on lived experiences, recollections of the thoughts and feelings that dominated our minds, or views on what the most profound themes and ideas were throughout the year. With these stories, we hope to piece together a picture of how our world moved through 2020, both for posterity as well as for listeners today still trying to piece together this whirlwind year.
Please join us in sharing your thoughts or experiences through 2020. These can be funny or heartbreaking, mundane or thought provoking, with the only constant being the aim of using your time to fill in the collective question of “what the heck just happened” for listeners both today and into the future.
