On this episode of the Kicking Out Of Kayfabe Podcast  I have the pleasure of being joined by The living legend Niall "Foxy" Fox. I had an absolute blast being able to pick the brain of the absolute best in the business.  

 This episode was extremely difficult for me as I had so much that I wanted to cover with Foxy, but had to try keep it to around 2 hours. I honestly could have spoken to Foxy all day and still wouldn't have scratched the surface of the man who has done so much in the business.  

Although I didn't get to cover everything with Foxy, we still did get to cover a wide range of topics. From Foxys beginnings as a wrestler to his transition to a referee. How he still longs to be a wrestler and would love nothing more than to have a match or 2 a year.   

Foxy takes me through some of the more controversial things that have happened while in the ring, and we touch on some of the more fun aspects that he gets to do, including being able to take a couple of bumps.  

This is a great show with some very good insight from the perspective of the 3rd man in the ring (depending on the match type).

She is so enthusiastic, her outlook and optimism on everything is phenomenal and her passion is second to none.   

I think Amy's theme song, Don't stop me now by Queen truly describes her rise in Irish Wrestling. At the very young age of 20, Amy was set to challenge for the OTT womens title on the biggest stage in Irish wrestling. Unfortunately due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, that show was cancelled. Amy talks to me about her devastation at that match being cancelled and how she is looking forward to the rescheduling of that.  

We also discuss things like Amy's training, some of her favourite matches, a little bit about her personal life, the other promotions in the UK she was beginning to branch out into  & finally where Amy sees herself going in the future. On this episode of the Kicking Out Of Kayfabe Podcast  I am joined by the Temple Bar Bad Boy himself, Terry Thatcher. Terry talks to me about his 10+ year career in the wrestling industry. How he got into the business, who he has worked for. We spoke about his character developments, moving from a bad boy heel to the ultimate underdog babyface. He talks me through his 2 big singles titles wins in the NLW & Inter-gender titles. Terry also talks to me in depth about one of the longest and best feuds in Irish wrestling, Terry v Haskins.   

Lastly we go through some fan questions and the 22 quickfire questions of doom. Terry gets through them with the assistance of a couple of run ins from a certain midget mammy.

On this episode of the Kicking Out Of Kayfabe Podcast I will be doing the first in the series I am calling Breaking Out. These episodes will drop sporadically between other episodes and will feature some of the guys and girls banging on the door to break out of the schools and training centers and become regulars on Irish shows. These episodes will focus on the beginnings, training and aspirations of these future regulars.   

My first Guest in this format is Frankie. Frankie has been wrestling from a young age with a few breaks thrown in through the years. Frankie talks to me about his stop, start career, a bad injury he sustained and what he is doing now to give a big push to try finally break through to a main stay spot on Irish shows.  

It was an absolute pleasure taking to Frankie, he comes across as a true fan of wrestling. You can really tell from his passion and attitude that he is so fond of not just the business from a performers view, but from a fans view also.
