Darryl “Waistline” Mitchell is a founding member of the League of Revolutionary Black Workers, a former union rep of the UAW, and a founding member of the Communist Labor Party. He is the author of the pamphlet “Detroit: A History of Struggle, A Vision of the Future” (2010), and the book Marxist Glossary: Expanded Edition (2014).

The Science of Society is Historical Materialism. We dig into ideas about society from a historical materialist perspective. The use of theories, philosophies, and methods toward struggle, are used to educate people to look at the evolution of societies as a process. From here we can prepare to be more equipped to create the reality we need for all people.
