In this episode, we examine the difficulties justice engaged LGBTQ youth experience, both during and after incarceration. LGBTQ youth, particularly LGBTQ youth of color are overrepresented in the juvenile justice system. And once pushed into the juvenile justice system LGBTQ youth are at a higher risk of becoming disconnected, harassed or victims of violence.
