    Revel in Rivalry

    Revel in Rivalry

In one of my previous episode 'Stamping Lives' I spoke about circle of influence. And it greatly intrigues me how influences come from most unlikely of places. On the occasion of Janmashtami a few days back I read and powerful piece that lead me to think how our challengers bring out the best in us. It is crucial to mention the influence they have on us and when looked with the right mindset, how educational it can be! The world is replete with such examples where the love, the respect for their pursuit was paramount. Tune in to listen the story from the sacred Geeta to modern day examples on how enriching the rivalry can be. Happy listening...

My prayers and thoughts for the Beirut explosion termed as one of the largest non- nuclear explosions in history. Ignorance is Bliss!

    Ignorance is Bliss!

National Dork Day observed on July 15th every year, caught my attention. It is a day to celebrate your imperfections and disregard the norm of what others think is acceptable. How interesting!! Have you ever enjoyed being silly or ignorant? I certainly have, the moment of pure joy!! No wonder happy as a baby is a universally accepted premise. Ignorance is Bliss originated in 1742 in Thomas Gray's poem, where he quotes, " Where ignorance is Bliss, 'ti's folly to be wise!" Recollecting my childhood days, there is a precious learning towards the end.

Do you ever feel a decision taken with clouded judgement rips you off a memory or an experience that can last you a lifetime! So don't be up in arms about things that you will forget tomorrow, be wise and let things pan out. Always look at the big picture and question yourself what is at stake, and what you may loose out on? Don't be penny wise and Pound foolish!!
