Mollyfog The Music – Episode #4: Angry Ladies First

Mollyfog The Music – Episode #4: Angry Ladies First

Tom and Kelen have love on their minds but really it’s all about the lurv-ly ladies delivering the musical goods! Kelen brings another Disney song to the show. Tom brings us solo Neko Case (she’s the badass with the sword). Kelen was relieved Lady Gaga did not bring out Beyonce at the Super Bowl. Tom has great stories about Tanya Donnelly. Kelen really wishes he could get a new Queen Latifah album. And Tom brings us more garbage… led by their lead singer Shirley Manson. The bad females are here and jokes abound… in between thoughtful musings over these songs!

Mollyfog The Music – Episode #3: Lando Sings Soulful Classics

Mollyfog The Music – Episode #3: Lando Sings Soulful Classics

Tom isn’t the biggest Childish Gambino fan but he loves the idea of a Lando Calrissian cover album. Kelen thinks Humpty Hump may have ruined the career of Shock G. Tom thinks Bell Biv Devoe has sage advice but are kind of rude. The guys have no sympathy for Davy Jones. Kelen only picked “Mother Knows Best” because he loves Mother Gothel/Donna Murphy (shout out to Derrick Ferguson). And they wrap things up by trying to talk a lover of Nancy Drew books off the ledge. Not so many bad females this time out but the music is noteworthy!

Mollyfog The Music – Episode #2: Let’s Knife

Mollyfog The Music – Episode #2: Let’s Knife

In this second episode, Kelen tries to hijack the show and make it all about Eminem, the guys refuse to bow to Queen Beyonce, Tom loves Stevie Wonder but thinks he could learn how to wrap it up, a Big Dipper song leads to a prolonged conversation about Shonen Knife, Natalie Merchant had a lot of fun in college, Kay Hanley is talented and hot, and the Doobie Brothers has the guys doing Jalen Rose impressions!
