On this episode: We started off with a jubilant new Houston “Asteroids” fan celebrating almost catching a baseball in play with his son. Florida is back to doing Florida things and Bunnell Elementary singles out its black kids in an assembly targeting standardized test scores. We examined a three pillar plan for achieving mental wellness, and wished Coco Gauff mental stability as she headed into the US Open as an African American Teen. Spoiler Alert: She did the damn thing the following day becoming the 4th American Female Teen to win a major, 3rd at the US Open, and 1st since Serena Williams did it in the early 2000’s. Congratulations CoCo! We’re extremely proud of you! Afterthought, we compared Coco to Sha’Carri Richardson who overcame adversity to win the 100m dash at the World Championships in Budapest. Forgot we hadn’t recorded since then, salute to that young woman as well.

We were in the spirit of the Meley in Montgomery as we celebrated home goings, proposals, reunions, first meetings, back to school, birthdays, and our 4th Anniversary. We started recording on the recognized 50th Anniversary of Hip Hop, and followed LL Cool J's example by giving our Mount Rushmore of Hip Hop. On this episode: Several announcements of the crew embarking on new endeavors. We’re excited to see it and wish everyone well. Trump and Juliani have been indicted with RICO charges, which is ironic for Juliani and not surprising for Trump. In a related case the Proud Boys leaders are facing heavy charges for their participation in the January 6th insurrection. The Shade Room got called out for being right leaning for jaded reporting of Biden’s reaction to the Maui fires. Arkansas is following Florida’s lead by banning the AP African American Studies course claiming that it promotes CRT and is Un-American, but Florida upped the ante by approving right leaning propaganda from PragerU for the classroom in its place. Micheal Oher, the subject of the white savior film “The Blind Side '' was blind sided to find out he was never adopted by those so called white saviors and they’ve been withholding proceeds of the film from him.
