We're back back back! (Sorta. This was our last recording before life happened)

This recording dives deep into how un/important labels are in relationships. We have a lot to say just because we come from different backgrounds. Unplatonic relationships can be messy, we know! How do we know we're doing it right? Answer: we don't. There's no roadmap for navigating this. But can labels help? Listen in and maybe you'll find some clarity. Or not. Either way, we're happy to be back-ish. Labo namin diba?

For this week's episode, we attempt to peel away and understand the intricate layers of dating, from the importance of establishing labels to social norms to ghosting! We also share some awkward dating memories. Finding someone is hard in this day and age. Is swiping right finally the norm? They say love is a battlefield. But dating is a different fight altogether!

We're not trying to sound preachy here but for this episode we talk about the intimidating world of managing finances, from hard experiences and mistakes learned early on. This isn't a how-to guide because even we haven't even figured it out yet. We get slightly technical but hey, earning money and managing it are two different things. Life ain't easy bruh.

A lot of wisdom comes from experience (HAHA), like what not to do in a public park after your nth glass sangria. We turn nostalgic and talk about our roaring 20's - the good, the bad, the regrets, and the growth (daw).

Tonight we try to peel back the different layers of what it means to be a single Filipina in her 30's, their struggles, fears and hopes. Should she compromise in the name of love? Are kids the endgame? Is she more scared or hopeful of the future? Should she even worry that Mr. Right hasn't arrived yet? Listen in and hear what our three guests have to say.

Tonight we talk and complain about how the pandemic caused a ripple effect with how people have been living and coping. Mental health (and wellness) has taken on a new meaning these days, and we try to make sense of it all. And yes, there will be swearing and alcohol involved.
