PhDizzle was started because of the Big Bang Theory. No, really! Why does media have to portray scientists and engineers, “nerds,” as weird and ugly? Sure we love learning and can be quirky, but I have met some of the nicest, coolest, most-well rounded people in graduate school. And they just happen to be super smart and are helping to change the world!

PhDizzle is a way to highlight all the awesome personalities with PhDs (and other terminal degrees), and show that education can be fun and cool. PhDizzle celebrates the diversity of education and puts a spin on traditional stereotypes.
