Ep 6. 2019-2020, The Year in Review

Ep 6. 2019-2020, The Year in Review

Join us as we take a walk along memory (verse) lane, an incredible journey in knowing intimately, following closely, and living abundantly in Jesus Christ our Lord, even during a pandemic. In this final podcast of the 2019-2020 PWOC Board, we remind ourselves what The LORD taught us through His Word in such a trying and unprecedented time.

    Memory (Verse) Lane:

Theme Verse: JOHN 17:3 And this is eternal life, that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent.

OCTOBER: PHILIPPIANS 3:8-9a Indeed, I count everything a loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my LORD. For His sake I have suffered the loss of all things and count them as rubbish, in order than I may gain Christ and be found in Him.

NOVEMBER: Psalm 46:10 Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.

DECEMBER: 1 JOHN 4:8 Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love.

JANUARY: 1 JOHN 2:3-4 And by this we know that we have come to know Him, if we keep His commandments. Whoever says, “I know Him” but does not keep His commandments is a liar, and the truth is not in him,

FEBRUARY: 1 JOHN 2:5-6 but whoever keeps His word, in him truly the love of God is perfected.  By this we may know that we are in Him: whoever says he abides in Him ought to walk in the same way in which He walked.

MARCH: JOHN 10:14,27 (NIV) “I am the good Shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me . . . My sheep listen to my voice, I know them, and they follow me.”

APRIL: Galatians 2:20 I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.

MAY: JEREMIAH 31:34 And no longer shall each one teach his neighbor and each his brother, saying, ‘Know The LORD,’ for they shall all know me, from the least of them to the greatest, declares The LORD. For I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.
