Darrick, Kalo, and Tunde are psychologists (in-training) in Boston. In this episode they discuss a talk they attended in Brockton, MA, by school psychologist Dr. Umar Johnson. Dr. Umar is a firebrand commentator on social and political issues, trained in the assessment and treatment of children in school settings, and the self-proclaimed Prince of Pan-Africanism. His voice and perspectives are well underrepresented in mainstream psychology, but he's found a way to be heard. DKT reflect on Umar's comments and discuss their own experiences as underrepresented minorities working in the mental health field.

The White House Office of National Drug Control Policy declared fentanyl adulterated with xylazine an emerging threat on April 12, 2023.
