    In the highly anticipated season 3 premiere of Table 86, I am joined by none other than Ernest Owens. Ernest is an award-winning journalist, CEO of Ernest Media Empire, LLC, Editor of Eater Philly, and Political Writer at Large for Philadelphia Magazine. He's also President of the Philadelphia Association of Black Journalists and Regional Vice President of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (Mid-Atlantic Chapter). Known for his bold commentary on race, LGBTQIA issues, and pop culture, Owens founded his multimedia company in 2018 to promote diversity in media.
    In this episode, Ernest delves into his personal experiences covering Philadelphia's food scene and emphasizes the crucial role that media plays in shaping its future. He also draws from his perspective as both a journalist and advocate, to offer insights into how to cultivate a more inclusive culinary culture.

She is passionate about uplifting and creating spaces for historically underrepresented food creatives and the organizer behind the wildly popular Black History Month Virtual Potluck and Juneteenth Virtual Cookout.
