My friend Julie is on the very first episode of 2020. I am just going to start off by saying -- you will be learning a lot through our conversation. Her passion and heart for the special needs community is beyond inspiring. Through this episode, I learned the ins and outs of this population, as well as how we can best care for people around us who may be different from us. Praying that this episode speaks to your heart, and brings a fresh definition of compassion to your life.

Hi friends! Thank you for tuning in for another episode of Tailor Made! Today, Bethany is behind the mic. This friend is bright, resilient, and inspiring. She loves being active, sending time with her sister Maddy, and throughly enjoys sipping on some good coffee! I am taken back by the amount of trials, but also joys, she has experienced this past year. With her mom passing away from brain cancer this past summer, Bethany explains in this podcast the amount of pain she has gone through in this loss. In that pain, however, Bethany feels peace. Why peace? How? Bethany's answer is "Jesus". Out of the loss of her mom, I have loved being able to watch Bethany speak into other's with grace and love. This episode is a heavy one, but I truly hope it's an episode that gives you a perspective of how special life really is.

My time with JJ was all around FUN! When you feel like you’re waiting for the next chapter in your life, JJ relates to that COMPLETELY. A lot of growth happens in the “waiting” and balancing two passions in life is stretching, but so worth it. JJ is a gifted story teller, actor, and worship leader. I cannot wait for you to laugh along with us. He also stars in his own comedy show "Beech Boys" that is now released on Amazon Prime. Check it out before season 2 comes out! Back with another episode of Tailor Made! Episode 5 is all about my college roommate and dear friend Aubree (@aubreezy27)! This friend is passionate about her puppy Chacha and all things TARGET. But on a more serious note, Aubree is resilient. I admire how she is so aware of other people’s needs. She has loved me with no limits in really hard seasons, as well as great seasons. Aubree speaks in this episode on the real and raw stuff that comes with loving people who have deeply fought with addiction. She has a beautiful way of speaking in love, truth, and grace. Enjoy her heart today. Whatever you learn from Aubree’s words, I hope you can use to speak truth into someone’s life today.

Corinne Weber (@corinnerecovery) is an author, speaker, and survivor. “Survivor” is meant to be a strong and real word because Corinne courageously conquered a hard and real battle with anorexia. In this episode of Tailor Made she speaks on that season of her life, along with her journey in and through her relationship with Jesus. How does one bounce back from something that almost destroys you? How did Corinne find such healing? If you’re dealing with anything that feels suffocating, I am deeply praying that Corinne’s words would speak loudly to your heart.
