There's a couple of others who could lay claim, but he was certainly the best of the 80's - amassing 4 cups and a boatload of other accolades as he backstopped those great Oiler's squads in 'tendy tandems with Andy Moog and last week's feature, Billy Ranford!
We're talkin’ some Oilers/Panthers Stanley Cup Finals, but we've only got game #1 to go on, since they're slowplayin' the finals! Plus some 4 Nations Cup chatter and we weight in on the Utah team name finalists.

He was a quality stand-up 'tendy who always looked stellar on a hockey card and kept it clean between the pipes!We also talk about co-host Tom's newfound dental adventures as well as updates on the quest for Lord Stanley, who hoisted the first ever Walter cup awarded to the PWHL champions, and who's set to face off for the Memorial Cup!Plus on this week's Pack-A-Day habit, we open up some 1991-91 Upper Deck High Series cards, and they're some real beauties!

Back at it tell you about a fine number 27 - the great Gilles Meloche! This mustachioed tendy patrolled the pipes for the likes of the California Golden Seals, Cleveland Barons and Minnesota North Stars, so you know he felt the sting of more than a few biscuits to the side of the head! He currently sits at 4th all-time in the Goalie loss leaders, where he's got some pretty good company.
We also get caught up on Round Two playoff action, look at some head coaching vacancies and debut our brand new pack-a-day segment!
