I've seen so many "fall-outs" this year!! Specifically Issa and Molly from HBO's "Insecure," which honestly hurt the most! (I'm too emotionally involved in scripted television, I know) So, what do you do when bridges have been burned with a LONG TIME friend?! After time, are you open to repairing? Or is it "F$@k you forever"?! What do you consider a "toxic friendship"? What does not being able to maintain any type of friendship with anyone say about a person? Yassssss, I know this topic  got y'all thinking!!!

 

I'd hate to ruin the vibe, but grieving is such a huge part of life that always seems too uncomfortable or I guess rather sad to discuss, let's change that! If you know me, you know how often I like to talk about my Mom's life which inevitably leads into the conversation of her after life, it's a form of grieving for me. In what ways do you grieve the loss of a loved one? Do you avoid conversation around it? It's difficult to determine what could be deemed as, "healthy and unhealthy" forms of grieving but do you have any examples? "Grief is not a disorder, a disease or a sign of weakness. DOWN IN THE VALLEY WHERE THE GIRLS GET NA-KED!! P-Valley really did a number on the girls and more importantly it highlighted homosexuality in the urban community. Did it make you uncomfortable? How often do you subconsciously categorize "Gayness?" Like, have you ever said "he/she too fine to be gay!" How does it make you feel that the main character "Lil Murda" is actually happily married to a woman? I've previously done an episode titled "Undercover Brotha" but tonight's episode willl discuss the more OPENLY side of homosexuality ;) Let's get into it!

As with EVERYTHING, my views on marriage vary by the season and who I'm talking to at the moment, LOL! What are your thoughts?! What are the benefits of marriage? Are they comparable to the benefits of having a life-long partner? How do you determine who to marry? What situations could compromise a marriage? WHEW, grab a drink and let's get into it!

Specifically, black love, black finances, black families, black health. Yikes, keep in mind we only have an hour so let's make it count! Whether emotionally, physically, spiritually or mentally; I know all women and MEN can relate to a time of feeling broken! The title is catchy af (thanks Issa! I LOVE YOU) and I hate to get so serious but now more than ever, self care is vital in creating a space for peace/ stability in our lives. What self care regimens did you practice when you had to heal yourself from a situation that broke you? Did you seek outside help from others? Anything you’d do differently? I’m really praying this episode does what needs to be done ! Let’s get deep in it!! Ugh, pun was NOT intended.
