Diversity is awesome

Okay. So I’m a huge Oscar fan/film nerd and I really feel like this podcast is missing in my life. However, you lost me at one thing. ‘The Doing the Right Thing Awards’.. Really? Out of all the good things that happened for women and minorities in film this year, that is what you want to focus on.. gotta say I’m really disappointed. I’m for one so glad that we are actually starting to get some diversity in the Oscar nominees. Seeing all the straight white guy films getting nominated was really getting old. We got people of colour and women in a lot of new catagories. How awesome is that?! I’ve only listened to the nominees podcast and I’m gonna give it another go. But if that is the style you’re gonna go with. Sign me out.
