Welcome to another episode of Bending The Edge! In today's episode, I got into it with two guys who I currently share a locker room with at Grand Valley State, one as a teammate: Bryce Young-Walls, and then one as a former teammate who is now a coach, Jake Studdard.
Bryce and Jake are two of the biggest personalities I’ve been around but also have a ton of good insight so I knew having them would create some valuable and entertaining discussion.
In this episode, we got into topics ranging from experiences as a black student-athlete, how to “break the cycle” when coming from a rough area, balling on social media vs balling in real life, what we’re looking for in a women/when we want to “settle down”, and finally our highlights from our GV Football careers.
