This time next week, we will know who our next Prime Minister will be. After what has been a very lacklustre campaign which has done little to enthuse voters about the choice they face on Thursday, Rishi Sunak and Sir Keir Starmer are preparing to make their final pitches to the electorate. For Rishi Sunak, the message has pivoted from ‘trust the plan’ at the start of the campaign to ‘don’t let Labour have a supermajority’. For Sir Keir Starmer, the message has remained the same which is a promise of ‘change’, but in what form, we aren’t entirely sure.

With more betting scandals, predictions of crushing defeats in polling and an insurgent Nigel Farage, Rishi Sunak is looking down and out. Whilst it looks likely that the majority of those constituencies will flip back to Labour, there are not many people at all who are genuinely enthused by Sir Keir Starmer’s lacklustre offering. It is no wonder so many voters are undecided and will ultimately decide this election, either by choosing on the day, or not showing up at all.
