This is a safe space for dark skinned black women. I feel we often times don’t get to fully express our plight because we’re either interrupted or just characterized as over emotional and aggressive. Well I’m tired of being in spaces where that’s bound to happen, so I’ve created one for myself, and whoever feels they can relate. This is the raw, uncensored, uninterrupted, and loud other side of the truth. The side that isn’t championed, the side thats often times silenced, the Dark Skinned Girl’s side of the truth!🖤

The Other Side of The Truth🖤- Listen to who speaks to you

In this episode I address several rappers and their anti black/colorist tweets and comments. I will no longer be listening and streaming black male rappers they have been on a streak of disrespect and complete misogyny and at this point if they don’t respect lack women then they no longer have a say in wether or not we stream their music and feed their pockets!

The Other Side of The Truth🖤- Who can say nigga..?

The Other Side of The Truth🖤- Who can say nigga..?

This episode kicks off my second season and my first hot bottom topic is *drumroll* Who can and cannot say nigga! Now if you’re on the fence as a black person I hope this is enough to give you a good understanding of the word and why we shouldn’t be letting anyone use it. If you’re not black and you are t sure if you can the word I hope this clarifies a lot of things as to why blackness isn’t something to be tokenized and mimicked.

The Other Side of The Truth🖤- Are they attractive or are they just.... white?

The Other Side of The Truth🖤- Are they attractive or are they just.... white?

In this very detailed episode I go over a poll that I ran on my Instagram page I break down why I think white media plays a key role in anti-blackness as far as black men not finding black women desirable. I understand that some people find attractive whom they’ve just find attractive and that’s fine however we need to start being honest with ourselves and we need to unpack and break down why it is we think basic average white women are top-tier are beautiful, when in reality they’re not in comparison to a lot of other women who are in the media however because those women aren’t forced down our throats and pushed to the forefront they are often times overlooked and basic white women are champion over them. The Other Side of The Truth🖤- Colorist Code Words

The Other Side of The Truth🖤- Colorist Code Words

I’m tired of the blatant lies and confusion regarding colorism so in this episode I’m breaking down what colorism is and who is affected by it. I also give examples and explain why and who colorism can and cannot affect. I’ve given two terms that can replace colorism in cases it does not fit, and I hope people start using them so gaslighting and lying cannot affect us anymore.

The Other Side of The Truth🖤- Have you seen our girls?

In this episode we’re going to discuss the 64,000 Black Women missing in the United States right now. I break down statistics regarding human trafficking and how Black Women are disproportionately targeted. I just want a discussion to unfold and action to be taken to put a stop to our modern day slavery.
