Carol Ann Kwitkowski is a psychic medium and intuitive and she is constantly seeing signs. This is something that she says, she had to learn to trust. She also kept saying “I need a lot of confirmation so I am always asking for more.” I laughed because I think that is so relatable. She has experienced loss and health scares in her own life and this has shaped her relationship with the spirit world. Luisa Echevarria was born in Cuba and lived through the revolution. She moved to the United States as a small child and grew up to be a thought leader and all around amazing woman. But Luisa experienced something at a young age that most of us would never come to understand for ourselves which is having a near death experience. She was only 3 years old when this happened and as she explains it, it changed how she walked through life. She forever saw things differently. Luisa is a client of mine and when she comes in she usually share stories with me and I hang on every word! I love listening to her speak which is why I was so happy to have her as a guest. Luisa just recently retired after 30 years in media. She worked for the largest Spanish language media company in the US, Univision, as the Community Empowerment Director. She now sits on the board for both the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America and Equal Hope.

Matt Rektorski went through a very scary moment in life where his health was declining and doctors couldn't tell him what was wrong for awhile. His story is about this profound moment, his journey through it and how it transformed his entire life. He describes how he now has a knowing about things, something he didn't have before, which also influences all of his work. When I went to Matt's studio to do this interview, I was blown away by his paintings, they all felt like they were living. I learned a lot from Matt about what it means to really pay attention to everything as a sign. He lives and paints this way and when you see it, you can't help but be moved.
