The Best Music Film Ever Made? La La Land vs. Whiplash vs. A Star Is Born ft. dodie | The Screen Test Episode 10

La La Land vs. Whiplash vs. A Star Is Born

Singer/Songwriter dodie is joining Jack Howard, Clarisse Loughrey and Joe Ikhinmwin to decide what the best music film ever made is, inspired by Prime Video’s new release; the Oscar nominated Sound of Metal starring Riz Ahmed.

How will La La Land rank against A Star Is Born and Whiplash? Well, Dodie thinks La La Land should win because it’s just so damn magical, Clarisse argues that the 2018 version of A Star Is Born is the best out of any of the iterations because of Lady Gaga’s powerhouse acting and Joe is here to explain why JK Simmons was justified with his unorthodox teaching methods in Whiplash.

Who will win? It’s time to face the music and find out…

Join us next Wednesday for a brand new episode when Jack, Clarisse and Joe will be joined by Raven Delgado from The Cyber Nerds to argue what the Best DC film is between The Dark Knight, Joker and Birds of Prey and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn.
