    On Loss

    On Loss

Loss is kind of abstract. Its ambiguity means that we are each connected to it, and with that, to each other. With loss comes grief, and I read somewhere that “grief is love persevering”. So, if grievance comes from a place of love, so does the sadness and anger that comes with loss. It’s why I think loss is beautiful -- it means that what was, was special. To my grandpa and gran and the other things and people I've lost, this is for you.

    On Body Image

Do you have a body? Then, this is the episode for YOU!

I think it's easy to say we have all struggled with our body image at one point or another. I'd like to think it's almost like a reflex. And the thing is, insecurities don't discriminate; whether you're 6 or 60, those demons are always there, and ready to tear you to shreds.

BUT! Don't fret. We've got you. We're in this together, and perhaps if we grow to share our experiences -- or create the space to do so -- we'll begin to treat our bodies like the temples they are. Beauty is everywhere and easy to find, if we allow ourselves to look. Perhaps start here: it might be a good spot.

    On Feminism

Women are brave! Women are powerful! Women are strong! Women are intelligent! Women are creative! Women are independent! Women are stoic!

    Women are sensitive!

Women are beautiful. But our experiences don't reflect all we have to offer, and, often, what we deserve. Teenage girls are boundless in their potential, yet face hurdles that, after time, are frustrating. So, let's talk about it!

    On Crisis

    On Crisis

Why does life suck? Why is climate change not taken seriously? Why am I already in debt? Why can't we just print more money?

So many questions. SO many. Yet so few answers. I'm a frustrated teenager who is so furious at the world around her -- but somehow, we have a generation full of people like me? How did it get to this? And how, as individuals, can we take responsibility for how we cope -- how we take care of ourselves. Generation Z is unique because, since our birth, our world has almost constantly been in an active state of crisis.

Ultimately, I'm still quite clueless. But call this group therapy, because, I hope you'll be able to learn something. Perhaps nod your head once or twice.
