In this conversation, Tina Waldrom interviews social and business entrepreneur Stephanie Woolard OAM. Stephanie shares her journey of starting a charity in Nepal and her shift towards understanding the importance of sharing the gospel alongside good works. She started the charity Seven Women to empower disabled women in Nepal but realised that without a heart transformation and a personal relationship with God, true empowerment and lasting change were difficult to achieve.
 
Stephanie's personal journey of faith was deeply influenced by her grandmother's example which led her to embrace Christianity. This spiritual awakening not only shaped her approach to charity work but also inspired her to contribute in new ways. In Australia, she now collaborates with Food for Thought, an organization that fosters values-based business networking groups. These groups provide a platform for exploring faith and belief, bridging the gap between professional life and personal values. Through these initiatives, Stephanie continues her mission to combine good works with the gospel, promoting holistic empowerment and meaningful change in the communities she serves.

She recounts a conversation with an Uber driver who had a friend in the hospital, and despite his initial lack of response to her mention of prayer, she continues to look for ways to connect with him.
She shares how a person who looked like Jesus walking past the car became the opener for a discussion about Christianity. She concludes by encouraging listeners to have conversations that connect and to be prepared to offer resources for exploring faith. Tina provides examples of how to look for opportunities and what it looks like to hear God’s promptings and to follow those.
