WEEK VIII & IX RECAP Biz in Motion with Steve Mercil

    • Entrepreneurship

Weeks 8 through 9 marked the start of the final phase of the trip. I could see the seasons starting to take a turn into winter. In fact, we were forced to leave Lake Geneva a day earlier than plan to beat some bad weather on the ferry right. What we experienced over the next two weeks, were days of cold and rain. This time was made all the harder from a head cold I got in Michigan, and stayed with me through Ohio. I went back and forth from free riding 100% on the bike to being outright sick, lacking any kind of energy the bike. Still, with this being the case, I kept the schedule and kept pushing. There were days I just didn't even want to get up. I knew when I plan this whole trip, the warm days in Montana and sunshine in North Dakota, we're going to get behind us. And in the second phase, especially once we've got toward Pennsylvania, we were going to get into some cold and ugly weather. And in fact, in Pennsylvania, we got our first glimpse of snow. A lot of people were concerned when I told them about the trip, and then that wouldn't end until November in the far north of the country and Portland, Maine. And these days are cold and wind and rain prove true to that worry. So even through the cold and rain I kept resilient and I pushed through so I could make it to the coast.  Subscribe to get updates along Steve's journey, learn about the world of long-distance biking and exclusive interviews with entrepreneurial guests! 🚵  ✅ Website: https://bizinmotion.org/✅ Facebook: facebook.com/bizinmotion ✅ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/bizinmotion✅ Podcast: https://anchor.fm/bizinmotion✅ Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/show/7mIIH8if4nXTX2GHZ3KmlM -----  🎥 CHARLES EDMUND ADAMS | Film Director • Cinematographer • Aerial Cinematographer  VIMEO: vimeo.com/user99636616 IG: www.instagram.com/charlesedmundadams/ LINKEDIN: www.linkedin.com/in/charlesedmundadams/
