Hello! Welcome to the second episode of Well Seasoned, a TV show podcast! Each episode we'll do an episode by episode discussion about a season of television. This month, we decided to do Ramy, an A24 production (Hulu streamed) show focused on Ramy, an American Muslim-Arab struggling to find his identity with both his Egyptian heritage and American values. Starring Ramy Youseff, Hiam Abbass and Amr Waked, Ramy follows a journey of self-discovery, in a very "A24-esque" style comedy. Because this is a discussion of the TV series, yes, there will be spoilers for Season 1 (and maybe even some hints for Season 2!) so we highly recommend listening AFTER you've watched the show.
