Vinnie Tortorich, America's Angriest Trainer
Vinnie Tortorich is an author, podcast host and a personal trainer for celebrities and elite athletes and is based out of Beverly Hills, CA. His career began in New Orleans, after he graduated from Tulane Univ. where he studied on a football scholarship. He became a fitness trainer while living in New Orleans, and hosted a radio show on WSMB. He also worked at Newman High School in New Orleans as a physical education teacher where Archie Manning’s sons attended.
Vinnie’s book, Fitness Confidential is a best seller on Amazon and his podcast called the Angriest Trainer generates over 350,000 listeners per month. On top of all this, he just launched Pure Vitamin Club.
He joins us today to share some tips and advice on performance training, strength and conditioning and how to gain a sporting advantage with a strong mental mindset. -
Kriss Akabusi: World Champion
Kriss Akabusi represented Great Britain in the 1984, 1988 and the 1992 Summer Olympic Games, earning both Silver and Bronze Medals. His events in Track and Field included the 400 meters, the 4 x 400 relay and the 400 meter hurdles. Kriss also holds a world championship in the 4 x 400 relay beating out the American team in 1991 for the Gold.
